Chiang Mai is a perfect retreat for digital nomads, and still one of the least expensive places to live in the world. You get a lot for your money here, people are extremely nice, and it is very safe. We have modern infrastructure, great health care, and wonderful local foods.
Enchanted Garden Bungalows is in a traditional Thai village approximately 20 minutes from Chiang Mai...depending on traffic. We are a tranquil, peaceful retreat perfect for relaxing after a busy day sightseeing in Chiang Mai. A two minute walk down a quiet shady lane brings you to a Thai style general store that carries just about everything. There are also Thai style noodle shops and restaurants within walking distance. Our local temple is a 3 minute bike ride away. Transportation to and from the city is readily available, and transportation on arrival to the resort is complimentary!!

We built each bungalow for long stay users, and each one has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area, computer work area, and fun bathrooms, all with wonderful garden views. The garden area has Thai salas perfect for eating, conversation or a late night glass of wine. A dedicated massage / yoga platform sits in the forest shade, where you will only hear the sounds of nature and our many water features, as you stretch or enjoy a Thai massage from our local masseuse who is here every day.

May 2019Wanchai, Jenny, and Steve were amazing hosts. They picked us up from the airport and helped us book our itinerary for the entire visit to Chiang Mai; including the elephant sanctuary, thai massages, and a wonderful cooking class. The bungalows were lovely and the pools were great to relax and swim in. The new steam room was up and running just before our departure. It is a lovely addition to the already beautiful and relaxing property. The bungalows are located just a short ride from the center of the city and Wanchai, Jenny, and Steve were able to provide excellent directions which allowed us to get around with ease. We can't wait to visit again and highly recommend staying at the Enchanted Gardens for anyone visiting Thailand! Thank you for such an amazing stay!

February 2019Convivialité et bienveillance assurées. Wanchai est un hôte à l’ecoute et attentionné. Ses bungalows sont très chaleureux et fonctionnels avec une super piscine au centre. La position géographique de l’établissement est parfaite car à proximité de tous les sites à visiter.
December 2018Wanchai, Steve and Jennie are really SUPERHOSTS! The communication was always really easy, fast and super friendly! They even picked me up from the bus station with a warm welcome and great advices what to do in Chiang Mai! They can help you organizing everything you need (trips, drivers, just everything)! The highlight are the bamboo bungalows that are so comfortable and have a lot of great details! The pool is also really amazing! One great detail is the food in the area! There are some great small local restaurants and food vendors! Thank you very much guys for this great experience! I will definitely come back!!!

Our resort is excellent for couples, solo adventurers, digital nomads and business travelers. We have two salt water pools; one with massage jets. We have several internet servers, (just in case one goes down), and the 2 fastest are 60 mb. Our WIFI extends across the whole property, so wherever you find your favorite spot in the gardens, your computer will work there.
